Breakout

For those who loved the breakout game, here is your chance to enjoy it again. Breakout was an arcade game where you used a ball to break bricks which were at the top of the game. You are supposed to move the pad at the bottom using the mouse. The movements will determine the speed and direction that the ball takes. This is a game where you need to be very fast and have a knack for timing. You should see where the ball is going so you can move the pad to the correct position before the ball passes by. Sometimes the ball travels and breakneck speed, especially after it has broken several br89icks. There is a strategy that you may try, but this will take a lot of experience; this is to try and move the ball in a vertical direction. In this way, the ball will break the bricks, but will not accelerate. Once the ball begins to move in an oblique fashion, then you may have to sweat your way through the level. This game makes you feel like you are playing a racket game such as badminton or tennis, with w very adept player. Sometimes you have no idea where the ball is headed, especially after it bounces off several bricks. This bouncing off several bricks gives it a lot of momentum and you just have to pray that you are able to reach it when it finally starts its journey downwards. The ball can also bounce off the side walls, so you should be ready for changes in direction when this happens. You have only 5 chances to get the all the bricks so you can advance to the next level. If you manage all to go through the first level without losing all five balls, then you deserve a pat on your back.

Breakout is a game that had a popular following for those who used to frequent arcades. There are other versions which were created for portable devices. Now this is one which you can play on your computer using the mouse as the control for the pad that sends the ball back into the bricks. Basically, you are supposed to launch the ball at the bricks using the pad, and the ball break the said bricks. However, the more bricks you break, the faster the ball travels. If you move the ball in an oblique direction, it will travel faster than if you move in a vertical one. The challenge is the fact that you cannot keep the ball moving in a vertical motion throughout the game. The horizontal movement of the pad and also the force/velocity at which it connects with the ball will determine the speed at which it will travel, and also the speed at which it will return. You may begin to feel like a novice tennis player who is playing against the top seed in the world. See how good you are at controlling the ball, breaking all the bricks above and advancing to the other levels.
