Frogger

So! Let the happy quacking finally begin! The world´s favorite retro classic Frogger must be played in its original version by you. First, you have to guide this crazy frog across a fairly busy road. The drivers of the cars and trucks probably have little time, for none of these racers comes even close to the brake pedal. So far so good! Once you have left the army of rapidly speeding cars behind you, you next have to cross a river with a strong current by means of approaching logs as well as turtles, as our little frog was never able to enjoy a swimming lesson in his life. Every now and then snakes as well as crocodiles can appear, which could be fatal to you in case of the appropriate oversight. At the other end of the playing field of Frogger, there are five bays, which must be filled by you with one frog each. You are reading this correctly: You must accompany five frogs across the road and / or the river. For any progress, you get ten points credited to your score. For each fly caught that can randomly appear on the colorful playing field, you will get as many as 200 points. What a real treat that is! Each frog must arrive on the other side within a set amount of time, because one of the three available lives will be removed from you otherwise. Frogger is waiting for you with a great retro graphics of the 80s. From the beginning, you have to focus completely on the task ahead. Avoid coming up with a plan, since the entire game is based on a purely random basis. You should rather try to be able to respond quickly to each condition as it comes up. Always remember that a step backwards may be the way towards progress.

This game was originally developed for the Atari 2600 from the year 1977. Later, the home users were able to enjoy the game on their own Commodore 64 (C64). At that time, different versions of IBM PCs or the Apple II were published. Players on the pulse of time may play a substantially revised version on their Xbox 360. In addition to the single player, a multiplayer mode is also included here. In April 2012, a new, modified version of the game has been released. Here the player has to cross the world famous 5th Avenue in New York.
